Founder & Course Leader - Navin Dev

The Narrow Path Christian School of Arts was founded by Navin Dev.

Navin trained at the Method drama school Drama Centre London and has since worked extensively as a writer and director, within both film and theatre.

Empire magazine columnist Kim Newman described his first feature

film, the arthouse gothic film Red Kingdom Rising (2014), as ‘a

nicely dense, imagistic feel and a grasp of the nightmarish... A

study of cracked psyche using the tropes of scary children

stories..’ Flickering Myth described the film as ‘an eerie and imaginative dark fantasy dreamscape with a visual style reminiscent of directors such as Tim Burton and Guillermo Del Toro.’

His second feature film, the sci-fi thriller Zoo-Head (2019)

premiered at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival in 2019 and screened on Hulu and iTunes in the U.S.

Navin’s films have been screened and awarded at several

international film festivals such as the BAFTA qualifying London

Short Film Festival, Portabello Film Festival, Branchage,

Sacramento International Film Festival and Anchorage

International Film Festival.
